Piano: Wave your left hand.
Violin: Wave your right hand.
Cello: Move both hands low.
Saxophone: Close your arms, then open wide.
Shimmer: Move both hands high, or open your fingers and gently pinch thumb to index.

For piano or violin alone, move one hand near shoulder height and keep the other out of view. Left and right mean your own hands. Release a pinch before playing again.

Left hand / PianoGently wave your left hand near shoulder height. Keep your right hand out of view to hear piano on its own.

Right hand / ViolinGently wave your right hand near shoulder height. Keep your left hand out of view to hear violin on its own.

Both hands low / CelloKeep both hands below your shoulders and move them gently.

Open arms / SaxophoneBring hands together, then spread them wide for a soft phrase. Close to play again.

Both hands high / ShimmerRaise both hands above your shoulders and move them to scatter bell-like notes.

Fingertip / A little shimmerShow your open hand, then gently bring thumb and index finger together. Release before pinching again. Move your fingertip to draw starlight.

Stay seated or stand. Keep your shoulders and either hand in view; no hips or legs needed. Left and right mean your own left and right. Two-hand gestures take priority over individual instruments. Pinching briefly pauses new arm-triggered notes. Release your fingers to return to body gestures. Pause to let the last notes fade.
